Business requirement

Triggered by a desire to increase their already high levels of client service, Wrays has embraced the latest in technology infrastructure and software. The firm launched Microsoft’s SharePoint solution in March 2008 as its internal intranet solution to support professional staff with Knowledge Bases, Precedent Libraries and a broad range of searchable corporate documents. The success of this SharePoint deployment meant that Wrays was confident that the technology was stable, scalable and suitable as a platform for its businesscritical electronic case file solution.

However, a significant gap was identified - given the large volume of correspondence coming into the firm by email, it was quickly realised that a critical success factor would be the ability to move emails, their attachments and important metadata from individual Outlook mailboxes to SharePoint. Wrays required a custom integration solution that would ensure all data relating to matters managed via their CPA Inprotech case management software could be easily moved from Outlook into SharePoint and be readily referenced from Inprotech.

Working with the Wrays team, Scinaptic fully integrated OnePlaceMail with the Inprotech software through custom code and created a sophisticated and user friendly centralised platform for managing client matters that demonstrates and exceeds best practice. Scinaptic and OnePlaceMail maximised the value of SharePoint technology to Wrays.
