Business overview

Hebel Innovations specialises in the supply and installation of Hebel building products, marketing a range of block and panel systems used extensively world wide in residential, commercial and industrial markets.

Hebel is one of CSR Building Products Ltd’s fastest growing businesses. It needed an integrated software solution to manage the heavy load of documents processed by its staff every day. Hebel’s previous system relied heavily on the manual input of data. This was labour intensive and not time efficient.

Carl Dew, general manager, Hebel Innovations gives his perspective on how Scinaptic OnePlaceMail has made a difference to Hebel’s business.

Why Scinaptic?

“We’d used Scinaptic to manage our SharePoint platform in the past and knew they were a reliable company who delivered high quality products. Past experience had shown they would truly listen and appreciate our business challenge and suggest the most appropriate solution applicable,” said Carl Dew, general manager, Hebel Innovations.

“After consulting with Scinaptic we were certain OnePlaceMail was the best solution to integrate data between SharePoint and Outlook by way of one shared platform, making managing our data a simple task, while offering greater team collaboration.”

Process

“Integrating OnePlaceMail was extremely straightforward and hassle-free. If we had any questions or concerns Scinaptic were always there to provide support and helped us work through any issues immediately,” said Dew.

“Due to this efficiency there were no real challenges during implementation.”

Outcomes

“OnePlaceMail has helped streamline Hebel’s administration process by saving staff more than two and half hours of data entry per week as well as eliminating much data error frustration. Staff are now free to focus on the business of selling and installing Hebel.

“Staff have been able to interact with the systems more quickly meaning less time is spent training new staff,” concluded Dew.
